As a young British person living abroad I feel I’m finally broadening my
horizons here in Barcelona. I’m an English Literature graduate who is done
with academia (for the moment), and currently studying and working in
documentary filmmaking. I’m a second generation British-Sri Lankan, so I
have a somewhat unique childhood experience - now that I’m older I find my
parents’ culture more interesting than ever before.

I’ve always been a lover of arts and culture, particularly film and music of
which I have a very broad taste. I’m also interested in politics and love
talking to people who care about it. Food is a huge part of my life - I’ll
try anything once and love exploring new cuisines.
